Castle Hotel Windsor is a 4-star hotel based in the heart of Windsor town centre, located opposite the Windsor Castle and Windsor Guildhall. Boasting unrivalled views of the Changing of the Guards procession which marches past the doorstep of the hotel along Windsor’s picturesque main street. The hotel is undergoing a multi-million pound refurbishment withbedrooms, public areas and the restaurant being updated.
All rooms feature a smart TV with Chromecast, Nespresso machine, Roberts Radio, mini-bar, a dedicated workspace, air conditioning, GHD hairdryer, complimentary WiFi, and private bathrooms complete with British toiletries. Selected rooms offer views of Windsor Castle and Windsor High Street. For more space and for families, book one of the suites in the main house or in the Mews Building,the former stables offer a private entrance and dog-friendly accommodation. Onsite parking along with EV charging is available at an additional charge, subject to availability.
The new restaurant, Penningtons, a British brassiere is coming soon with seasonal British dishes showcasing a love of simple things done well. London Heathrow Airport can be reached in 15 minutes by car, and the hotel is only a few minutes’ walk from both Windsor & Eton Central and Windsor and Eton Riverside train stationsguests can reach London Paddington or Waterloo in under an hour. If you are visiting us by car please note the entrance to the car park is via Bachelors Acre, postcode is SL4 1ER.
Windsor Racecourse is 6 minutes drive away, and Ascot Racecourse is 12 minutes. The River Thames, Savill Gardens, Legoland, Twickenham Stadium and Runnymede arewithin reach of the hotel. The onsite conference and events space offers 11 naturally lit spaces including a ballroom which can host up to 400 guest, the largest in Windsor.
